J-Runner v0.2 Beta – Build 275 released


A new build of the all-in-one JTAG/RGH app by ‘Team-Xecuter’ has been released!
This all in one tool integrates with ‘Xebuild’ to read/create/write X360 NAND images to able perfect setup builds for Glitch’ing & JTAG hacks.
It been a few weeks since the last build of J-Runner was released and this one like the rest "has been developed with the end-user in mind to make the entire process intuitive, simple and seamless from start to finish".
Here’s the changelog of Build 275 (v0.2 Beta):

- SMC config viewer
- Extract files function now extracts all the required files for Fusion into output folder
- Advertisement now opens in the user’s specified browser and not Internet Explorer \o/ :P
- Added another warning message when users are about to dump nand thus replacing an existing file
- A checksum.md5 is now generated on compare, dunno why its needed but someone asked for it
- Enhanced bad block handling, now not only it remaps blocks to create ecc but it writes them in the correct position as well

360Squirt has announced ‘The Squirter Dongle’ for the Xbox


Now with this DONGLE you can RGH your Xbox 360 without any PC.
Team Squirt has returned and officially announced that their Squirter Dongle will arrive next month in June.
Of course Team-Xecuter is rockin’ hard-core with their line-up of products, but The Squirt team is fighting back to say they’re not done squirting away, and they have produced a video showcasing their new product called: The Squirter Dongle.
This dongle basically allows to dump/write your Xbox 360 NAND without any need of PC connected to your 360, or other special tools, as the dongle has its own OLED screen, which walks you thru the baby steps in RGH’ing your Xbox 360 console all by its own ‘dongle’ self!
The Squirter dongle also seems to offers 360 console hackers the possibility of running homebrew apps, as you can see in the video with their "Snake" app.
But when the need rises you will sadly have to borrow your friend’s PC to update your Dongle via USB to get a fresh load of files!

First batch for the Slim Xbox 360 consoles has rolled off the production line.
Team-Xecuter has announced the first batch of the Xecuter Demon Slim has completed production this weekend.
TX has finally pass all the needed testing and design changes and the Slim DemoN module is rolling off the production lines with the Phat would to be started this Monday, so it will not be long before you see the amazing dual-nand devices for sale at your local reseller!

BlaKCat from the spanish forum ElOtroLado released a new version of his All In One (Nandpro/xebuild/build.py…) glitch/Jtag app : AutoGG, now in version 4.0 Here is the Changelog

PLAYSTATION3 DRIVE EMULATION


No hacking, no flashing, no modding .

Emulation is the future. A team is currently working on a new hack for the Playstation3.

The blueray player, Sony's PCB has been cracked and costs can thus be gekloont. The team probably Wasabi or Wiikey team is currently working on this for the board to connect to an external HDD. This can be downloaded games played as Wasabi360 and Xkey for the Xbox360.

A major retailer in China has also indicated that this year is released.

Union Jack Xbox 360 console confirmed for May 25 release



Celebration Pack includes skins for the console, controller and Kinect sensor.

The Xbox 360 Celebration Pack will launch in the UK on May 25, according to a listing on Amazon.co.uk.
Announced back in February as the Kinect Family Bundle, the Celebration Pack appears identical bar the inclusion of Union Jack skins for the console, controller and Kinect sensor.
Unskinned the 4GB Xbox 360, wireless controller and Kinect sensor are all glossy white in colour. The bundle also includes copies of Kinect Sports and Kinect Adventures, plus a three month Xbox LIVE Gold subscription.
All this will set you back £249.99 from Amazon.
