As the summer winds down, a surge of games are being released - Madden NFL 12, Deus Ex and Dead Island, there is one bringing all of the attention. That game is Driver: San Francisco. The wheelman is back but he's coming with that new anti-piracy feature called the XGD3 disc format. The conclusion has been made after the game failed to verify in ABGX. What does this mean? Take a read:
At this stage in firmware development, Driver: San Francisco is playable if you have an Xbox flashed with LT+ V1.9 or higher as it has support for XGD3 originals. However, it will be unplayable as a backup until LT+ v2.0 is released. In Addition, it is not known if Driver: San Francisco has any other protections such as AP2.5 (which would in turn require LT+ V1.91).
Driver: San Francisco is scheduled to drop next week Tuesday. (At least in North America)
